Anyone else ever heard of this -
"Finally, the stock Quad must intentionally peak the signal applied to the stators in order to achieve even 18kHz - and this intentional peaking comes with the additional cost of a pronounced resonance at 9.1kHz. The ringing at this frequency is underdamped and rings about six cycles on a squarewave. This is the real reason that the ESL63 has a slight grainy character in the high frequencies, and is not quite as clear as 57s."
