Are you saying that before soldering new leads to the driver terminals that one must unhook the aluminum driver leads or else the driver leads might melt? The driver leads must be aluminum soldered, right? Is it not possible/practical to use hemostats to heat sink the driver leads? Am I correct that you are saying also that normal solder may be used for the leads?
