I know it's a bit off topic and certainly not what you asked, but since I biamped my T IV's, it's like having new speakers. I only use 44WPC triode on the mid/tweeter panels which I roll off at 360Hz at -6dB/octave using small coupling caps in my HF amp. The bass panels go through an active -18dB/octave crossover with adjustable output level, rolling off at 280Hz. I plan to redo my crossover so it has adjustable rollover, but that will wait for another day.
I rebuilt my internal crossovers using the T-IVa schematic, but eliminating the outboard crossover and adding serious power to the bass panels was just the ticket.
