Not on Maggies, but I've heard them now on four different dynamic speakers. They are one hell of an amplifier, never put a foot wrong. Lots of dynamics, great transparency, and they walk the fine line between Wow! and Ahhh! if you know what I mean. Like you, I used them with an 801 preamp, and it was a marvelous combination.I never tubed them with WEs, the ones I liked best were the KR300B and KR300BXLS, but especially the Sophia Princess 300B. Put in some nice 6SN7s too, my amps really enjoyed Sylvania chrome-domes.
