My Aleph J driven by the Tom Evans Vibe/Pulse sounded fantastic on the Quads - clean, transparent, very dynamic and musical with very high resolution. It sounded much better than my Audion PX25 that we tried as well. The Audion provided plenty of volume, but the sound was looser (especially in the bass) an not as transparent or dynamic.The owner's KR18 was as good as the J/Vibe combo, but different - not as overtly high-res, but with a better sense of integration and a seductive musicality.
