Dawit 98,
Weird that I saw this post. I almost always use the classic view but today i was in e-threads and saw this.
I had been meaning to update my tweak, but just havent.
Maybe soon I'll post the new picts and recommendations. It is basically the same as I originally posted...slap some dynamat on the frame and the pole pieces...as you can see/hear, this makes a major difference. SO glad you are enjoying the results. DId you do both the driver frame on the mylar side, and the pole pieces?
One thing to note, if you have put this on the bottom of the frame on the mylar side, I say dont take it off ever! The tweeter wires are run at the bottom and are painted over. You many not have seen them as they are painted black and look like the frame...removing the dynamat may damage the tweeters- pretty much a certainty- you can see in this photo where I peeled them back. Notice the almost straight lines running through the black paint and if you follow the tweeter from the binding posts, you will see what I mean. If you put the dynamat there too, then do leave it in place. Same goes for the bass wires, but they are much stronger though I would leave it if you have put it there.
