I ran my 3.6's with a 4BST and it did a very nice job. I did have a few issues with it clipping on occassion, mainly on a few sheffield labs DD jazz albums.
My room is 20'lx12'wx9'h..I had a chance to buy a Proceed HPA3 several years ago, and it does do a better job than the bryston. That said, the proceed had to go back for service last november and I was using the 4BST again to drive the 3.6's and did enjoy the sound. The proceed just has bigger soundstage and more control of the speaker
