I have the big S.L Speakers and the Wolcotts like yours. No problems. If you have enough high current it does not matter if it is produced by SS or Tube amp! When you get those nasty impedence dips (in the midrange for Sound Labs) it just takes to task most amps. There are however sonic quality differences that you may or may not like. The Prodigy should absolutey smoke with Hanks amp. I had the ESL amp made by Roger Sanders, and it is SS at 600Watts per and tons of current, however the Wolcotts just smoke em. Good Luck!
