I use one in my tv/bedroom system. (I actually have Maggie's 1.7i in my main system but don't feel the need for a sub with them.). Besides variable phase control, there are also 3 bands of parametric eq and the low pass crossover can be adjusted in 1 db increments starting at 30 hz.
