The Death of another pair of MG-1's

Basement flooded last Tuesday and soaked my MG-1's to the bone so for now I am Maggie-less, unless I pull out my old SMGa pair which didnt get wet at all in the same room, go figure.

The MG-1's were starting to peel anyway. I guess the insurance company will haul them off as I am going to claim as a loss. Hoping to get enough to buy new, brand-new speakers...and rather than audition the MMG would like to go straight for the new 1.7...who knows maybe I will send my SMGa pair to get Gunned if our lost contents check is big enough.

Dont cry for me, this is most likely a blessing is disguise and the man cave will be better and nicer than it was. Probably not so much of a cave, lol.

Lost a bunch of LPs too, but not many of the best ones...a nice Sheffield S-9 was on the floor though the LP was saved the jacket didnt fare so well.

If you have a finished basement, invest in an water main auto-shutoff system for your home - I will now. : P
