Hey, this goes to the "always judging" vs "just listening to the music, stupid" argument.
If a recording sounds like crap to you, to the point it bothers you, then you are clearly always running your judgemental 'audiophile' prefilter full time. STOP, drop the mental filtering and just listen to the music.
