RE: lets talk about getting "chest thumping " bass .....

Interesting. I can only get "chest thumping" bass with two 8-inch subwoofers in my Maggie 3.6 system. I am not sure if it's possible to get that type of bass without subs. I was a purist until I discovered what I'd been missing in the low region of the frequency response before the subs were integrated into the system. They truly take the music to a different level.
