I think the fact that I remember so vividly how much I liked them nearly 20 years ago at The Analog Room speaks to that. Yes, could have been the whole system, and I don't have the cash to put all that together, but the only other speakers I recall pining for were the Eidelons in the next room. And they cost (at the time) about 3X as much.
So, while I'm still going to listen to the Audio Notes, and the Klipschs for kicks, when the house is done and the literal dust settles, I think the Quads will appear. And probably a new car in the driveway to seal the deal with my wife.
