they did alter it enough to win the award and just because you disagree with that doesn't make it so. The 'ionic plasma arc' design might have done it if research and design made it practical to the home.

Also the Flame design would have. That was for Laboratory Research

Here a question for you and do not convenient for you avoid it- how many Electrostat designs came out on the mass market since 1957? A few searches will answer that and will reveal how significant it was ever since, that may help you to understand the article that started this.

And BTW, using a questionable recording that you claim to have made yourself to reach your final opinion on their worth is worthless here
