Couldn't resist and bought a quad of Heil AMT's. Actively crossed over at 1kHz to 8" CURV cones. One stack weighs 30 Lbs!

Unexpectedly, the system's vocals remind me very much of larger Magnepans' vocals, i.e. air-infused, luxuriously rich, slightly larger-than-life images and so nice..

One advantage of Heil stack is series connection yields ~99 dB sensitive, ~8 Ohm stack, and my 300B SET can drive them to extreme volume with extreme dynamics!
