Not so ....

IMD is an unfortunate issue with most Maggie models. :-((

I had IIIAs for 20 years or so (where the bass panel and the mid panel share the same sheet of mylar and there is a 'clamp bar' running 1/2 along the length between the 2 drivers.

Then I moved to my "Frankenpans" - which had exactly the same sized drivers ... except the mid panel (From a Tympani IVa) was on a separate sheet of mylar to the bass panel (from a 2.6).

This sounded much better.

That's why the Tymp IVa and the T-30 sound much better than the other models.
