My friend also suggested the same approach:
"0.45 has two issues. One is that the amp load may not be perfect resulting is lesser power and elevated distortion;;
Another is a requirement for speaker cables and connectors - must be super thick.
Instead of 4 in parallel, I'd connect them 2x2 : two in parallel and two such pairs in series. The advantage is the same impedance as a single speaker and 3 to 6 db more sensitivity (louder sound, more SPL)....."
