The truth is that it is intelectual laziness on my part. I can make an afternoon out of figuring it out but have too many other irons in the fire to chose to do that yet. A reason that I went with the Marchand XM-9 is that I denied myself the controls to play around with a bazillion slope combinations. You can modify the XM-9 to other slopes if you decided but it requires circuit modification.This following is what got me interested in modification possibilities to begin with...

Couldn't get over that. There just had to be a better way... I thought. Even though I knew I didn't know what I was talking about and doubted that you can hear it, it just was a fly in the face of reason. At least to my fuzzy little mind.
