I was generalizing a bit too much. I'll have to get some of that wire, then I'll give it a go and report on my findings. It should be an interesting (and cheap) experiment. I'll be a bit bummed if I find that it's better than my Litz wires - it really was a major pain to terminate those things! On the other hand, if the result is better sound, then what do I care about what I need to give the toss?
