I'm not at the moment, but in the past I've used a vertical, passive

bi-amp. Easy to implement even with the stock x-over, but even larger benefits will come from changing the choke and the tweeter caps. Dynamics increase (greatly), note 'attack' is more realistic and viable, while note 'smear' is greatly reduced.T he midrange is even more musical. Soundstage depth is increased, and pace and jump seem livelier. All good, and no bad.

I'm not sure if 'gymwear' was referring to active or passive x-over, but active definitely has it's proponents as well (see andyr).
