Satie you are spot on. I was ready to purchase a pair of Vandersteen Kēnto ($42k) from Advanced Audio in Tacoma and I wanted to really like them but they just didn't do the real life full size instruments and voices like my 20.7's. Everything sounded smaller. I'm not saying it's not an accurate image just not close to my Magnepans. I've been a Magnepan owner and a Vandersteen 3A Signature owner and I considered them the only speaker makers for me. I have great components and a very good room and at double the cost of my 20.7's the Kēnto's don't compare IMO.
