In your post you said you were looking for other people who were burned by Magnepan and Guy Brummel. In my opinion you were burned by Brummel but not by Magnepan. Magnepan has no control over the actions of people who are not their authorized dealers, even if those people use their email address without authorization. Magnepan does a better job than most of maintaining a high quality, high integrity dealer network, and if you had been burned by one of their dealers I'm sure their response would have been different. I realize these commments may appear callous to someone who has been cheated out of a large sum of money, and also that this forum is not the place for rants about frivolous lawsuits, but this kind of action against a manufacturer effects the prices we all pay for that manufacturers products. The suit will cost Magnepan a considerable amount of time, money, and emotional energy. They deserve better. Again, I am sorry for your loss, but in this instance I don't feel the need to apologize for my frankness. Two wrongs don't make a right.
