Long answer: If I paid with a credit card then my bank would take care of it. Otherwise, because the authorized dealership is acting as the manufacturer's agent, I would expect the manufacturer to interface with the dealership and, whatever the outcome, either to refund my money or to deliver the product. If the manufacturer decided not to cooperate then I would seek resolution with them directly. This is why it is good to buy from an authorized dealer. This is also why it is good to buy with a credit card.
