Guy actually approached me about buying some 10.1's at one point (he came to me). I was interested, but the wheeler dealer aspect put me off... seemed like too many things could potentially go wrong (and it seems they did).He did divulge some details of how/why he was selling the speakers, and even provided a photo of his family off the magnepan web site (under a "wendell" directory no less)!
