I thought I would try putting my tweeters in again; haven't tried in about 6 months. Based on some current thinking here, it should sound better as the width of my room is 13 ft., but I still prefer tweeters out. in the spot I had them with tweeters out, the bass was deeper, yet less boomy, and I prefer the additional width of soundstage. With tweeters in, and crossed in front to give the bass panels a shorter path to the ears, perhaps the image was more precise, but sounded a little too narrow, the difference between a six inch vocal image and a ft wide one is an easy sacrifice based on the above. Maybe I will try again in a few months, but sounds pretty good where it was. :)
