RE: It all looks very good John!

The crossover sounds excellent, considering. The highs could be smoother, and more bass, but it needs to break-in, along with many other issues to be resolved. If I'm not mistaken, it is a first order design? My first "real" speakers were Thiel 3.0s (still have them, in storage). They also used the first order type.

The drivers installed were replacement units from Magnepan, so it is as if I bought a new pair of speakers and immediately modded them. So they need to break-in also.

Plus I hooked the MMGs to my subwoofer setup. I'm using a Bottlehead SEX amp as a tube line stage (puts out a max of 7 volts output!), using two pairs of Mogami XLR cables, hooked together (usually go through a Behringer DCX2496). From there they go to a pro audio Nano Patch (defiantly not audiophile approved) to adjust the level to an Aragon 8008ST.

The finished setup will be better cables, with a voltage divider installed, to my Aragon 8002, which IMO sounds better the ST. Then later a Bottlehead Foreplay, in place of the SEX amp. Plus so many more tweaks down the road.

It's amazing it sounds as good as it does now.
