They do look purty - I don't even mind the screws because you have them spaced so evenly. Even though your XO is in a temporary state, there is nothing wrong with the way you have things connected - you don't have to solder (wire nuts maintaining good twists results in a positive connection). It's all coming along quite nicely. Keep up posted.
Just curious, what was your first impression of that XO?
