RE: Razor your mags

Perhaps the tweeter section should not be razored in its entirety but just its edges as the real estate available to ring there is rather small and is by the frame, the added depth of the air flow channels (space between the magnets then holes then dynamat) may be enough to damp the tweeter output proper and not just the ringing of the magnet board. I would try and remove alternate dynamat strips on the tweeter section and see how that works.
