I was looking at it this way, using ohm's law as well:
Power (P), Current (I), Resistance (R)P = I^2 * R
Therefore
I = square root of (P/R) (you remember algebra)
I = square root of (650/4) (650wpc sunfire amp, 4 ohm Maggies)
I = 12.7 ampsThe Sunfire amp I have is rated: Maximum output current - 80 amperes peak to peak per channel
