Yes, the data must have been stolen from an online merchant I had ordered from sometime in the past. Whether it was done by an inside employee or outside hacker, the thief would have tried to avoid detection, so I doubt the merchant ever know about it.The credit card with the Virtual Account Numbers is AT&T Universal Card (now operated by CitiBank -- http://universalcard.com/ ). Looking at the details now, they generate a credit card number that is valid for a limited time (user selectable, default one month) and could be used only at one merchant during that time.
