Tesla needs new cars.

The designs are all old. The Cybertruck is junk and it was a major miscalculation. As Ford and GM are also learning, truck buyers don't want EVs and EV buyers don't want truck.
Elon Musk is proud of being an erratic, egomaniacal asshole instead of hiding his toxic personality like billionaires normally do. That's enough to give investors the squirts.
EV sales aren't declining despite the CW, they just aren't increasing as fast as forecast. Hyundai and Kia EVs are fairly popular--they're a common sight locally, and the Hyundai Ioniq 6 is selling well enough that dealers are marking them up.
If Musk runs Tesla into the ground, it won't go away. Some other car company will buy the name and the engineering.
I'm an agnostic when it comes to EVs. All I want is a good car at a fair price and I don't care what makes it go. Also, a dumbass EV SUV is just another dumbass SUV in my book. GM will never sell me an Equinox EV at any price.
