The local mega-mart just replaced two wheels on every cart with new "geofenced" wheels. Everything is fine within the "fenced-in" area. Move the cart outside that area and the two wheels lock up. No more grocery carts in the parking lots of nearby apartments or on the sidewalks and bike paths near the mart. Apparently saves a tonne of $$$ by greatly reducing cart retrieval and repair/replacement costs. Next up: geofenced cars. What a country!!!!
