I have 2002 GTI 1.8T which will get out of its own way, gets great mileage and is huge inside.......Paid about 22K including CDP, 17" wheels, leather, sunroof and 180hp engine......I've had two warranty repairs in three years, broken electric window and the CDP failed......I've had 7 VWs since college and this is the best one to date......The MK V won't be out for some months from what my dealer tells me, but figure I'll get the 4wd 160hp V-6 version if I have any money burning a hole in my pocket........
