And BTW, Ryobi are excellent for most jobs around the house. If I were to use these tools on a daily basis as a pro I might consider a more prestigious and expensive brand..... but no need around here. I'm not a tool snob ;-)
Every Ryobi tool that I've bought over the past decade to present remains compatible with the rechargeable batteries they sell today. Speaking of rechargeable batteries, the 40V unit for my Ryobi lawn mower is still going strong after 9 years.
Hint: Never store the batteries in harsh temperature extremes. I don't leave mine in the garage. I bring my batteries in the house.
