I looked, just for grins. The cheapest induction stoves were $1,199. Gas overs could be had under $500 with the nicer ones up to all of $600.
But hey, there's a $200 tax credit!
Dang, the batteries are dear. And days like this won't even get a battery charged. We've had a couple days with under 10kWh and we've got a 12.9kW system.
Is that a double Tesla? I thought they were 5K each, more?
