Look at the interest and impact on the debt over time:





We are currently spending a trillion or more than we take in every year. By 2031, just the interest will add nearly another trillion a year. And those estimates are quite conservative. What would these numbers be if we had interest rates go up to 6% or 8%?

If you can't see that it's unsustainable, you must live in La La Land.
