Are they siblings?
That's the best. We did and then, lost one to wandering and the new one was never real friendly. And then went we lost the older one, she never liked to new teenager. She passed and we got Sugar as a kitten. Simba is about 12 now and he'll play with her. She bugs him more often and they both chase each other around the house, but aren't too chummy, not that they don't get along.
