Sorry, Toyota shows it as $27,450 MSRP...

My wife's Prius C was a level 2 or whatever was in the middle that had navigation for about $24K in 2015. The new one with XLE trim is now $31K, but it's a bigger car than the smaller C which isn't made any more.

I've been considering the RAV4 Prime, a plug in hybrid. It's only 42 miles on the battery, but we rarely go more than a few miles. Charging once a week would about cover my wife's errands and it still gets 36-42 mpg on gas for long trips. It's pricier though, $42-46K. My future daughter-in-law bought one last year, just the straight hybrid, and it's nice, with plenty of power and well equipped. It's too bad that every extra now requires a subscription.

The Ford Mach E is sweet, but they're kicked it up to $55K and there's the potential of a super high battery replacement at 100K miles. Should I care? My 2012 truck still only has about 52K miles on it.
