I was tempted, but they're too expensive and none are truly ready for prime time. My biggest issue that the batteries are far too expensive making the EV as a disposable product.
Currently, the plug-in hybrid is the best choice in the interim mainly because it also doesn't have the fear of mileage limits away from home and the battery replacement is far less.
As to Tesla, the stock is getting cheaper by the day and I nearly bought some. I probably am wrong, but I don't see Tesla as a growth company much longer. How many defunct automobile manufacturers exist?
