Previously, there would be lots of smaller groups, some with parents. Starting about 6:30 or so, I heard some noise down the street. There was a chain of vehicles including four wheelers who stopped house by house en masse.
When the first wave arrived, there must have been a dozen kids. I could barely keep up filling their bags before needing to restock! All in all, we had around 60 - which is somewhat smaller than in the past but I wasn't prepared for the rapid fire approach.
The good news was that once the waves passed, it was pretty much over. :)
