Right now, there isn't even a common charger plug AFAIK.
Even if you do spend $1,200 or more for a fast charger in the garage, I believe that the vast majority of folks with garages can't park a car in it.
And what about four EV families? Who gets the charger?
For apartments, forget about it.
In California, they've decided that parking places for new apartment buildings won't be required if there's any mass transit within a certain distance, so maybe it's not a problem for charging. Who needs a car?
