Jupiter rises from the northeast over those trees after 9:30 or so. That position picks it up earlier than facing directly south as the backyard faces.
Don't have any camera coupler so no pics. I've toyed with the idea of buying a new one with internal GPS and star map so I would simply dial in the desired object and let it track movement automatically. Then use a trusty phone adapter for pics. Alas, I already have too many toys and don't mind manually targeting with the upper sighting scope and then fine tuning on the main one. :)
I so enjoy living in a rural area where light pollution is minimal. I could never see the rings of Saturn when I lived near Atlanta
