One of Mrs. H's grandfathers built railroads in pre-Revolution Russia BITD.
I guess he came home with one.
It's in our dining room now -- and has been for quite a few years.
We drink lots of tea, mostly black tea (and especially in the cold weather) -- but I've not tried to use the samovar for anything , to date.
