It is unknown because all the research was done with a 5 day endpoint as 'good enough outcome" but incidence of rebound was then felt to be only 10%. It is at least twice that, probably more...
I would have started at 10 days, which is a conventional duration of most therapies and worked backwards (& then 5 if 7 OK),
I think the economics and the supply of the drug had more to do with it than we admit.
