Yeah, it appears that the Mach-E Premium will go up to right at $55K, a $6K increase. Tesla may not raise prices until the 2023 version which isn't due out until late Summer or later.
On the up side, I read that the battery issues won't go into effect until January 1, 2024, so '23 is the time to buy for the full tax credit.
Likewise with you, we don't need another car as my truck and the wife's Prius are both around 50K miles and aren't likely to do more than a few thousand mile per year unless we do some road trips. But having an EV would save gas costs and extend the life of our gas cars.
