RE: 10,000 steps and diet root beer...

I had gotten up to about 210 pounds and decided that I needed to lost some weight. Recalling a co-worker years ago, Laura shared that she had lose a lot of weight by looking at what she was eating. In her case, it was chips, crackers, dips and wine. By cutting out the extras, she lost weight.

In my case, I snacked on handfuls of peanuts or mixed nuts. Between cutting out the nuts and honey-do projects, I lost about 30 pounds and got back near my fighting weight.

Beware of diet sodas. The fake sugar often just creates the desire for more sugar foods. In addition, none of the fake sugars are good for you.
