So... this objet d'art recently appeared in the side yard of a home along one of the semi-main roads (it's all relative) in our quiet little corner of the Connecticut River Upper Valley. A little googling reveals that it (or another, extremely similar, item in a series by the artist) has a bit of a past across the river, in VT. See link below.

As I pondered it, feeling a bit like Wallace Stevens and a jar somewhere in Tennessee ;), a few amusing comments came to mind.
Reflecting upon that , I figured this might be a good image for a Caption This thread,too!
Of course, YMMV. :)
