Victor, you may want to reconsider that judgement a bit. There have been announcements that Putin has approved the transfer of Iskander missiles to Belarus.That's not to say that Lukashenko has the personnel to operate or maintain the weapon system but since the missiles are capable of delivering both conventional and nuclear warheads, it bears watching to see if there is any truth behind Russia's illogical decision.
Lukashenko doesn't have an iron clad grip on his country as demonstrated by his need to have Russian assistance in putting down demonstrations after the last national election. Unless the Russians already run Belarus with Lukashenko as their puppet, delivering Iskanders could very well backfire on the Russians.
