otherwise, I'd let it sit, were I you (which, of course, I am not).When we built our NH house to retire to, we funded the construction by borrowing against our own holdings (i.e., "self financed", although there's still some nominal cost to do so), then paid ourselves back when we sold the house in MA. MA house ("House 3.2") was completely paid for years before we started building "House 4.0".
Our contractor loved us because we paid the bills we got from him
immediately. :)PS I do not like debt -- even "good" debt (e.g., a mortgage).
