It was a nice show and met a lot of very nice folks from all over the world. Beer & Pizza party went well and it was basically the same group from last year who showed up even though Misty River couldn't make it this year........Notables were the Herrons, The Nugents (audioengineer) Tony Digiovine and Kal Rubinson followed up by BWK and Grover.............Great pizza and every brand of beer the store stocked.......Classic Records star, Lazy Lester Johnson, was a hit, but not as much as the Hefeweisen beer he preferred.....He was signing his CDs and direct to disc records.........Curl found a reengineered copy of an old Grateful Dead recording and had Keith Herron up in arms who vowed to get a copy on Saturday........The bias supply for the electrostatics decided to go South in the middle of the party so the speakers would crackle on peaks and it wasn't until Saturday we dug into it to discover that was the cause as most thought it was the amps giving up, but we all made do with the sound at a lower level for the remainder of the party. Oh, made it to Wickenberg, but couldn't find Mona's........Ran out of gas 7 miles from Wickieup and coasted down the hill to the Mobile station on the way to 'Vegas........It was a trip and CES to remember made so much better by the roadies who gave a bit of time and steam to getting everything working.......Oh, the sound was very good and I got a kick out of Metralla's post on General as it was an anchor for lots
of folks who were doing the show.......They would come in in the morning for a cup of Ethiopian and then back about 2PM for another or maybe a beer saying about the same as Metralla's post.......Let the good times roll.......
